KJWP Wins 2015 Mid-Atlantic Emmy® Award
KJWP’s Another Thing with Larry Mendte has won a 2015 Mid-Atlantic Emmy® Award for Best Writer-News/Commentary/Short Form. Host and writer Larry Mendte has won over 90 Emmy® awards throughout his career. This is his first Emmy® award for his work on Another Thing with Larry Mendte. The show is produced by parent company PMCM TV. CEO Robert E. McAllan says, “Larry leads an amazing team who works extremely hard on Another Thing. We’re lucky to have someone with his experience and unique perspective.” Larry delivers his commentaries on a variety of subjects including current events, politics and social matters. The winning entry was a compilation of commentaries about lobbyists, the Charlie Hebdo shooting, and Isis. The 2015 Mid-Atlantic Emmy® awards were presented at a sold out event on Saturday, September 19th, 2015 at the Philadelphia Hilton.
Another Thing with Larry Mendte features interviews with regional politicians, activists, reporters and business leaders. Larry, along with his guests, review, analyze and discuss ‘news of the week’ both regionally and across the country. Each episode ends with one of Larry’s renowned no holds barred award winning commentaries. Another Thing with Larry Mendte airs every Saturday at 5:30 PM and re-airs on Sundays at 9:30 AM in the New York market on WJLP Me-TV and in the Philadelphia market on KJWP Me-TV.
